Cranbrook, B.C. – The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club is pleased to announce that over 400 individual game youth tickets will be donated thanks to the money raised from the ICE BBQ presented by Denham Ford.

On Wednesday, June 27, Denham Ford hosted a BBQ, with the support of Mr Mikes Steakhouse Casual, where 100 percent of the net proceeds went towards ICE Youth Programming. Money raised from the BBQ and the ICE Youth Programming Silent Auction is going towards the donation of 405 ICE individual game youth tickets for the 2018-19 season. Those tickets will help the ICE towards their goal of meeting demand for ICE Youth Programming supporting Cranbrook and East Kootenay youth.

“We are so thankful to have great community partners like Denham Ford with support from Mr Mike’s and Selkirk Beverages to assist us in our efforts to engage as many families as possible in the East Kootenay region,” said Raylin Kirsch, Vice President.

Special recognition to our local partners that made the success of this event and the silent auction possible:

  • Denham Ford
  • Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual
  • The Drive FM & Total Country B104
  • Selkirk Beverages
  • Compass Group Canada

“We are thrilled to be part of supporting the ICE Youth Programming and very excited about the active role we will be taking in the ICE Kids Club this year; 405 tickets will have a great impact on the youth in our community,” said Steve Zsillei, Marketing Manager at Denham Ford.
