GAME DAY | ICE face division rival Hitmen in Invermere

Invermere, B.C. – The Kootenay ICE begin a home-and-home pre-season series against the Calgary Hitmen on Friday at Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena in Invermere. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.

This will be the sixth game of the 2018 pre-season schedule for the ICE.

The ICE are 2-3 through five pre-season games. Last week, from Thursday to Saturday, the ICE visited Kennewick, WA for a three-games in three-days tournament. The ICE walked away with victories over Tri-City and Portland while dropping a game to Seattle.

Through five pre-season games, the ICE are led by Connor McClennon, who has five points (2G, 3A). He is followed by Dallas Hines (2G, 2A) and Peyton Krebs (1G, 3A), who each have four points.

The ICE close out its pre-season schedule with a date against the Hitmen at Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday.

The Kootenay ICE Home Opener presented by Silverado Industries will take place at Western Financial Place on Saturday, September 22 against the Hitmen.
