ICE recall ’01-born goaltender Jesse Makaj

Cranbrook, B.C. – The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club announced Wednesday its recalled ’01-born goaltender Jesse Makaj.

The ICE selected Makaj in the second round (23rd overall) in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

The North Vancouver, BC native played 18 games with the Greater Vancouver Canadians of the BCMML this season. In those 18 games, Makaj posted a goals against average of 3.15 and a record of 8-8-1.

The next home game for the ICE is against the Red Deer Rebels on Saturday, March 17. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. That’s the Northstar GM Fan Appreciation Game. More information can be found by clicking the link >> Northstar GM Fan Appreciation Game.
