ICE recall 2017 second overall draft pick Connor McClennon

Cranbrook, B.C. – The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club announced Tuesday it’s recalled ’02-born forward Connor McClennon.

The ICE selected the Wainwright, Alberta native second overall in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.

In 31 games with the Northern Alberta X-Treme Prep of the CSSHL, McClennon has 26 goals, 41 assists for 67 points this season. Earlier in the season, McClennon was also a member of Team Alberta at the WHL Cup. In five tournament games, McClennon had six goals and 10 points.
