ICE REDUCE ROSTER TO 25

Cranbrook, BC —  Jeff Chynoweth, General Manager of the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, tonight announced the club has reassigned two players:

      Forward       Douglas Morris            17           To be determined
    Defenseman      Jordan Steenbergen       16        Red Deer Rebels – AMHL

As a result of today’s transactions, the ICE are carrying two goaltenders, eight defencemen and 15 forwards (four 1992 born players, three 1993 born players, seven 1994 born players, nine 1995 born players and two 1996 born players).  

The first home action for the ICE will be Home Opener September 28 against the Regina Pats at 7:00 pm.  Tickets for the first three regular season games will go on sale Wednesday, September 19th at 9:00 am.
