ICE REDUCE ROSTER TO 28

Cranbrook, BC —  Jeff Chynoweth, General Manager of the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, today announced the club has reassigned 18-year-old Forward Kurt Johnas to the Steinbach Pistons of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
        
As a result of today’s transactions, the ICE are carrying two goaltenders, nine defencemen and 17 forwards (five 1992 born players, three 1993 born players, seven 1994 born players, ten 1995 born players and three 1996 born players).  

The first home action for the ICE will be Home Opener September 28 against the Regina Pats at 7:00 pm.  Season Tickets can be picked up at the Season Ticket Holders Pancake Breakfast inside Western Financial Place on Saturday from 9 – 11 am.
