Post Game Report | ‘Canes top ICE in OT

Cranbrook, B.C. – Dylan Cozens scored at the 1:17 mark of overtime to give the Lethbridge Hurricanes a 3-2 overtime victory over the Kootenay ICE at Western Financial Place on Wednesday, December 5.
The ICE received goals from Cole Muir and Jakin Smallwood. Muir and Martin Bodak collected two points in the game. Goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 36-of-39 shots that came his way. The ‘Canes got goals from Alex Cotton, Jake Leschyshyn and, as mentioned above, Dylan Cozens. ‘Canes goaltender Reece Klassen blocked 28-of-30 shots.
With the win, the ICE’s record drops to 7-20-4-1. The ‘Canes improve their record to 15-8-3-2.
