Manager, Corporate Partnerships & Fan Experience

Location

Cranbrook, BC

Overview

The successful candidate will lead Corporate Partnership sales and activation initiatives for the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club.  Key functions will include providing support building the brand, developing pricing and communication strategies for corporate partners.  Working closely with the Manager, Ticket Sales & Fan Experience you will have an overall accountability for corporate revenue, fan experience and game day production for the Kootenay ICE fans and corporate partners.

We are looking for someone that is energetic, passionate and highly engaging.  The Manager, Corporate Partnerships & Fan Experience will bring creative ideas, have an entrepreneurial spirit and be willing to take on a wide variety of duties.

Essential Functions
  • Increase season ticket seat base through deeper relationships with corporate partners
  • Build and foster corporate partnerships, including developing innovative programs with our fan experience in mind
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Ensure that all contractual obligations are exceeded
  • Develop and implement successful revenue generation campaigns with the support of the Manager, Communications and Community
  • Create awareness in the community and develop a partnership with our fans and corporate partners.
  • Responsible for the game day experience in partnership with the Manager, Ticket Sales and Fan Experience
  • Attend all home games
  • Willing to have fun as part of a team atmosphere

  • Understanding of the role technology plays in sales, specifically CRM and ticketing platforms
  • Comfort with leveraging technology to create engagement with patrons and corporate partners.  Examples of technology that the candidate will be familiar with and /or have experience using to enhance Corporate Partnerships and Fan Experience relationships include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, CRM
  • Experience selling advertising, sponsorship and tickets in the sports and entertainment industry would be considered an asset
  • Experience with video editing, creation and managing a website would be considered an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while prioritizing deadlines
  • Time Management
 

Experience

  • Post Secondary Education (Business Administration, B. Comm, or related field)
  • Previous successful sales and/or marketing experience (minimum 2 years)

 

 

Manager, Ticket Sales & Fan Experience

The successful candidate will lead and execute the ticket sales and fan experience initiatives for the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club.  Key functions will include developing pricing and communication strategies for season seat holders.  You will have an overall accountability for ticket revenue and responsibility for the seat holder fan experience.  The Manager, Ticket Sales and Fan Experience will develop and build value for customers at every touch point, this will be a key organizational philosophy.

  • Develop and implement flexible group ticket packages
  • Create and enhance the premium seat holder experience
  • Engage the community directly with customized offers
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Ensure that all contractual obligations are exceeded
  • Develop and implement successful revenue generation campaigns with the support of the Manager, Communications and Community
  • Create awareness in the community by developing a direct partnership with our fans through various season seat holder events and unique experiences that are created for our fans.
