Luke Pierce named to coaching staff for 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge

Pierce 200pxHockey Canada has named Kootenay ICE head coach Luke Pierce as an assistant coach at the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John, B.C. The Kootenay ICE are very proud of Luke’s selection by Hockey Canada. “This is a great opportunity for Luke and the experience gained at this event will help the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club” said Matt Cockell, President and General Manager of the Kootenay ICE. “Luke is a strong communicator and respected for his ability to develop and teach young athletes, I know he is looking forward to the opportunity”.
