Post Game Report | Wheat Kings blank ICE 7-0

Cranbrook, B.C. – Baron Thompson and Luka Burzan both scored two goals for the Brandon Wheat Kings in a 7-0 defeat of the Kootenay ICE on Tuesday night at Western Financial Place.
Ridley Greig, Stelio Mattheos, and Connor Gutenberg pitched in singles for the Wheat Kings who picked up their 30th victory of the season. Goaltender Jiri Patera stopped all 29 shots for the shutout.
Defenceman Martin Bodak played in his final game as a member of the ICE and received first star honours. Goaltender Jesse Makaj blocked 28-of-35 shots.
