DID YOU KNOW: ZAK ZBOROSKY is tied for the WHL lead in goals (12)…ZBOROSKY, who is four points shy of 150 career points, led the ICE in October scoring with 15 points (10-5-15) and is the first KOOTENAY player to record 10 goals in a month since LUKE PHILP (October 2015)…ZBOROSKY has recorded multi-point games in four of his last five outings (3-4-7)…PAYTON LEE is tied for second among league leaders in save percentage (.935)…The ICE have collected points in seven of LEE’s eight starts this season…MATT ALFARO is on a four-game point streak (3-2-5)…MAX PATTERSON scored his first career power-play goal October 28 versus BRANDON…The game-winning goal scored by TROY MURRAY October 30 against the WHEAT KINGS was his first tally since February 17, 2015 in LETHBRIDGE, a stretch of 92 games…MURRAY recorded a career-best three points (1-2-3) October 30 versus BRANDON…CALE FLEURY is four games away from 150 career regular season appearances.
TRANSACTION / INJURIES: KOOTENAY has re-assigned Goaltender DECLAN HOBBS (August 19, 1998) to NIPAWIN of the SASKATCHEWAN JUNIOR HOCKEY LEAGUE…Forward KAEDEN TAPHORN will be out of the ICE lineup indefinitely with an upper body injury…Forward SHANE ALLAN will be out of the KOOTENAY lineup indefinitely with a lower body injury.
