Cranbrook, B.C. – The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club has acquired two fifth round draft picks from Seattle in exchange for forward Noah Philp.

The draft picks include one in 2018 and one in 2019.

“This was a trade that we thought was in the best interest of the player and our franchise moving forward,” said Matt Cockell President and General Manager. “Noah has had a very good camp, we wish him the best of luck in Seattle.”

Philp played the previous two seasons with the ICE scoring 14 goals and collecting 41 points in 132 regular season games.
