Would you be willing to open your home to a Kootenay ICE Hockey player during the upcoming season?  Our players are between the ages of 16 and 20 years old.  They come to Cranbrook from Canada, Europe and the United States to play for our team.

It is our organizations commitment to these players and their parents to provide them with a stable home environment.  Being young and far from home, players need a supportive and encouraging environment.  Host families should live within five kilometers of the arena.  Players require a private bedroom and, preferably, a private bathroom.

In addition to season-long billets, there are times during the year when we may require homes for periods of one to two weeks while permanent host families are on vacation or partial season billets may be required should a host family move or if a new player is added to the team during the season.
