ICE launch Classroom of the Game initiative

Cranbrook, B.C. – The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club is pleased to launch a new initiative called the Kootenay ICE Classroom of the Game.

The organization invites all classrooms from all schools in the East Kootenay region to apply.

Each selected classroom will receive:

  • One ticket for each student in the class
  • One ticket for each teacher (up to two)
  • Additional adult/child individual tickets available at 15% off
  • P.A. recognition

The process to apply to become the Kootenay ICE Classroom of the Game is easy: a form is available to fill out at KOOTENAYICE.net.

“As a former teacher I am very passionate about engagement with schools, youth and classrooms,” said Raylin Kirsch, Vice President of ICE Sports Group. “One of our core foundational principles is community focus and we think there is no better place to start than in the classroom.”

Don’t miss the 2017-18 ICE Home Opener presented by Jason Wheeldon Personal Real Estate Corp. on September 22. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Ticket information will be announced early this week, visit ICEcountry.ca for details.
