Cranbrook, BC -- Jeff Chynoweth, General Manager of the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, today announced the club has reduced the roster to 27 players.

The ICE have added the following players to their exhibition roster:
Jayden Sittler 17 Red Deer, AB Goaltender
Troy Murray 15 White City, SK Defenseman
Dylan Overdyk 16 St. Albert, AB Defenseman
Jordan Steenbergen 17 Sylvan Lake, AB Defenseman
Matthew Alfaro 17 Calgary, AB Forward
Hudson Elynuik 15 Calgary, AB Forward
Carter Sawicki 16 Red Deer, AB Forward
Austin Wellsby 16 Abbotsford, BC Forward
Zachary Zborosky 16 Regina, SK Forward
The ICE are eligible to return 18 veteran players and are now carrying three goaltenders, eight defencemen and 16 forwards (two 1993 born players, six 1994 born players, seven 1995 born players, seven 1996 born players and four 1997 born players).
The first home action for the ICE will be the Home Opener September 20 against the Red Deer Rebels at 7:00 pm.
