Off-season Eight: with Brett Davis

Cranbrook, B.C. – What has the 2018 off-season been like for ICE 1999-born forward Brett Davis? Besides preparing for next season, what activities does he enjoy? And what is he most looking forward to when the 2018-19 season gets underway?
Davis has answered all of those questions and more in our new feature called Off-season Eight.
(1) What are you most looking forward to when it comes to the 2018-19 season?
Answer: Looking forward to seeing how our team shapes up. We have a good group of young guys that will be a year older.
(2) What are your goals for the 2018-19 season?
Answer: The number one goal for next season is to make the playoffs, and make a long run.

(3) What aspect of your hockey game have you been working on in the off-season?
Answer: I’ve been working on all aspects of my game. Speed, strength both on and off the ice.
(4) What is your favourite thing to do in the off-season?
Answer: Golf.

(5) What is the biggest thing you learned during last season that will help you moving forward as a player?
Answer: Personally and as a team, it is very important to be consistent.
(6) What is your favourite moment from last season?
Answer: Playing in front of our home fans at Western Financial Place.

(7) What did you think of the Stanley Cup playoffs?
Answer: Favourite part was rooting for the Jets and all the excitement in Winnipeg.
(8) What did you think of the 2018 Mastercard Memorial Cup?
Answer: It was exciting and fast hockey.
