Edmonton, AB – Goaltender Todd Scott stopped all 18 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season as the Edmonton Oil Kings blanked the Kootenay ICE 4-0 at Rogers Place on Sunday afternoon.
The Oil Kings received goals from Quinn Benjafield, Trey Fix-Wolansky, Scott Atkinson and Conner McDonald. The Oil Kings scored three special teams markers and an even-strength goal in the contest.
ICE goaltender Duncan McGovern blocked 24-of-28 shots.
