ICE CHIPS:  The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 21-25-1-0 record (13-12-1-0 at home, 8-13-0-0 on the road, 2-1 in overtime, 4-0 in shootouts) and in ninthplace in the EASTERN CONFERENCE...KOOTENAY has won 11 of their last 12 games and four of their last five on the road...The ICE will play four of their next five games on the road.

DID YOU KNOW:  JOEY LEACH, who is the ICE all time franchise leader in plus/minus (plus 90) needs to play in one more game to reach 250 in his WHL career...TANNER MUTH  needs to play in one more game to reach 200 in his WHL career (SEATTLE / SWIFT CURRENT / KOOTENAY)...BROCK MONTGOMERY needs two more points to reach 100 in his WHL...JON MARTIN played in his 100^th WHL career game on January 15 against SASKATOON...JAEDON DESCHENAU needs to play in two more games to reach 100 in his WHL career.

INJURY:    SAM REINHART will be out of the ICE line-up day-to-day with a lower body injury.

SCORING STREAKS:  SAM REINHART (10-7-17) and JAEDON DESCHENEAU (7-8-15) have both recorded at least a point in their last ten games.

 ONE YEAR AGO:  After 47 games of the 2011-2012 season the ICE were 27-14-3-3, after 48 games were 27-15-3-3 and after 49 games 27-15-3-4.
