ICE sign 2002-born forward Michael Milne

Cranbrook, B.C. – The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club is excited to announce the signing of 2002-born forward Michael Milne.

The ICE selected Milne in the eighth round (155th overall) of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.

The Abbotsford, B.C. native suited up for Yale Hockey Academy Elite 15s of the CSSHL last season. In 27 regular season games, Milne scored 28 goals and added 22 assists for 50 points. Milne also played four games for Yale Hockey Academy Prep, where he potted two goals and collected six points.

“Michael made a great impression last year at training camp and followed that with a successful season,” said Matt Cockell, President and General Manager. “We are excited that Michael has chosen the WHL to pursue his goals on and off the ice as a student athlete in our program.”
